Death on The Nile
I chose to illustrate her books because she has such a sophisticated way of describing her characters that as a reader I end up visualizing them and feel like I can vividly relate her characters to people I would know personally. Agatha Christie has been one of my favorite authors since I was in middle school. Hercule Poirot is perhaps Agatha Christie's most interesting and endearing character, in my opinion, as she describes him: short, round, and slightly comical, Poirot has a sharp mind and puts unlimited trust in himself.

The Process
What facial features could I make quirky yet sophisticated? For example using a bowlers hat, mustache and magnifying glass as visual cues to the reader. By making the body proportions funny and comical twist to the seriousness the story contains.
